Conclusion
"Let us hear the conclusion of the whole
matter: Fear God, and keep His commandments: for this is the whole
duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every
secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil."
Solomon (in Ecclesiastes 12:13,14)
God, in His love, is asking us to be fully committed to Him and to
give Him our all. He is tenderly pleading with us, asking us to give
up all harmful practices. We are living in fearful and awesome times;
these are not the moments to be foolishly wasted on personal
pleasure. God the faithful Judge is reviewing the cases of all, both
small and great. What will He find written against our names? Will it
be, "They have been faithful stewards of their bodily temples,
fully surrendered and yielded to Jesus, and have righteously
fulfilled their duty to man, animal and the inanimate creation?"
When it comes down to the nitty-gritty, the
issue really is whether we have been faithful to our God-given
responsibilities? If the creatures were to testify, what would they
say of me? What would the earth say? Would it be thankful for the
footsteps I left? And what of the people whose paths I have crossed?
Is each left the better for my having been here?

What is the mark we are leaving on the pages of
history? Will it have a telling influence for good? God grant that
each of us will do our part in restoring the true image of God in all
that we are and do.
